'Imperfect I and Imperfect II', (2020)

'Imperfect I' and 'Imperfect II' (2020) are two of my experimental artworks involved in my 'Beauty: The Bitter Truth' (2020) installation space.

Viewing 'Imperfect I', (2020) you can see a strong connection with those works of Sarah Lucas. This became a physical result of beginning to look at how I could form the foam into a more physical representation of the human figure. I took influence from Lucas's work, where she works a lot with everyday objects such as furniture to represent the human figure, as I too represent the figure through objects connecting. However, unlike before, i began to experiment with making my objects more like the figure, before as you can see by looking through my work, I do not like to make the work obvious, however evaluating these works has influenced me to consider more about making the foam represent a human figure, as i feel like in this particular installation space the works have strengthened as a result of this.

'Imperfect II' (2020), was one of my latest experimentation's I produced for 'Beauty: The Bitter Truth' (2020).
