Drawing research for my painting final :)

How we are influenced by others that our selfies should be at the perfect angle, with the perfect lighting and that you should have this perfectly, pure, untouched face for a photo.

Therefore I am working on sketches, which will hopefully become paintings very soon, which focus on imperfections and angles which are not very flattering. I will also be using my hands to distort the face to emphasize how the more we use our own hands on our phones for social media, the more pressure we are putting on ourselves almost to make our bodies and faces the ideal of 'beautiful' which isn't really a thing.
