After dissembling the 'Untitled' (2020) experiment I noticed how when the flour legs fell they lumped over each other creating an interesting perspective to my work in itself. Therefore after I had finished taking it all down, I thought I would experiment further with this happy accident.

The end result is pictured below. Where I tossed them all together lumping around and in-between each other. I hid the loose tights under the lumps which left me with a floor sculpture which was filled with manipulated lumps of flour in tights.

Lumping them together was a conscious decision of mine because i feel as if they represent how fat can be manipulated just as easily as these lumps. Such as when a individual, no matter their body weight, wears something which is too tight the fat on our bodies most likely will spill out and create bulges which are not natural or traditionally on the body.

The aim of the work is to express fat as nothing bad, but better yet a substance, or object in this case which just is. (Just is.... not bad or good.)

(UPDATE: All the flour which is used in my projects was purchased previously to Covid-19 and I have done all I can to recycle all the flour I am using.)
