Exploring Materiality.

Materiality seems to be slipping it's way into my practice smoothly. I feel I am at the stage in my work where I need to explore the structures of my work and how they may be responded to by audiences. As much as I love the flour and tights as they are, i would just love to explore how my work can be related more to the human body.

Beginning with learning and exploring structures, I have welded a grid structure and covered it with polyamide and flour. I wanted to learn more about the processes of structures in which I am interested in and explore how these processes could advance my practice. - Currently loving exploring metal work and the fabric when stitched.
Looking at the work from below, it reminds me of dough balls, I like how each perspective you look at this experiment the concept and imagery changes. I think I need to reflect further on how the viewer will see my work; how I ask them to view it. Such as by laying on the floor? Having it high, or low? Ect.
